Josef U. Bollag worked for ten years as an asset manager at the former Schweizerische Kreditanstalt. During this time, he worked abroad in London and Paris. Later on, he worked as an independent asset manager in Basel for almost 20 years. In 2005 he joined Tareno AG as a partner, and launched the Tareno Global Water Solutions Fund two years later. After 14 years as responsible fund manager, he joined the advisory board in July 2021. He also led Tareno AG from 2011 to 2020 as CEO, and has served as its Chairman of the Board of Directors since 2020.
As a music, film and theatre enthusiast and father of three, he privately supports selected projects in the cultural sector.
